"ALPACAS 1-on-1"

As you are looking at raising alpacas many questions come to mind.  Probably the biggest,   "Are alpacas right for me?"

HarNan Farms is pleased to announce their new breeder mentoring program "ALPACAS 1-on-1".  This is a two day learning experience that is tailored to your individual needs.  This program gives you the opportunity to live the life of an alpaca breeder by staying right here on the farm and participating in the day to day operations while learning the basics of setting up and running your own farm.  This program is different from many seminars offered today as YOU will be the only person here at the farm and will get our undivided attention.  This will allow you an opportunity to determine if alpacas are what you are looking for.

As a student in "ALPACAS 1-on-1" you will participate in all the daily activities necessary for the care and upkeep of the animals like feeding, pasture cleanup, toe nail trimming, breeding or behavior testing, halter training & handling and monthly herd  health. 

This will be a jam packed two days as you will also learn the basics for setting up and running your own farm.  Topics include:

This seminar is offered on a limited basis (approx. 1 per month) and arranged around alpaca show / event schedules so book your session today.  The cost of the seminar is $375 per person or $475 per couple.  It includes your meals, lodging at the farm and seminar booklet.  For any attendees who purchase animals from HarNan Farms of  breeding quality the seminar fee will be refunded.
